I used to be Premium member. Now I'm not. However they continue to send me public leads that I can not even answer. I assume that they do this to entice me to become a Premium Member again. But Guess What? It just annoys me. If I can't answer the leads then why send them to me?

I asked them five times to stop sending me public leads.... but every single day I get about 10 new ones in my box. I just told them I'm going to start marking each one as SPAM.

They need to learn how to listen.

If you're not paying them for their service anymore... I doubt they care.

Well the only good news (and it might have been part of the reason for your post) is that V123 does lurk around here via various employees, so maybe they'll get the message.

My suggestion to you is have them delete your profile entirely from their system if its that big of an annoyance.

Yeah... and Voice 123 = My STALKER Ex-Girlfriend. I'm about to get a Restraining Order. Wink

When you have to send someone five or six e-mails telling them to stop and they still don't listen, then this signals a problem. I just woke up to three more e-mails in my Box from them this morning. If they want to send me Private messages meant specifically for me then Great! That's money in the bank. But stop sending me all these public leads I have no use for. If i can't answer them what is the purpose of sending them????? Does anyone from the company care to give me the key answer answer to that question?

You already know the answer.

The reality of the situation is that you're just getting POed and they're not doing anything about it.

Yes you are correct. When someone keeps sending you mail when you keep telling them not to, wouldn't you be POed? If the problem is not fixed today I will just set up a SPAM filter for anything that comes from them. Their reason for sending me e-mail may be to try to get me to sign back up. But trust me when I tell you that it's having the exact opposite effect.

I just received my first response from them 5 minutes ago telling me that they will stop sending me public leads and only send me private ones. We'll see if that happens. Now I'm not quite as pissed off. Smile

Can you adjust your profile at V123 so that the public leads don't get forwarded?

I'm still listed there but I don't get the public leads in my e-mail.

What an interesting thought - forget ol' what's it's name???

I just had an experience with a young Lady whom I have been working with over the past few years who thought of spending money with 'that' company... I mentioned that she should should lurk here on the VO-BB.

Within a few hours she called me back and said that she would likely spend her money on more fruitful endeavors. I said "I thought that would be more practical". But it wasn't just the board - she took the initiative to call VO folks she knew had listings - and their comments were similar to those of the great folks here on the VO-BB.

One of the best forms of publicity is to have folks talk negatively about you, it peaks others interest. We see it in the news every day.

My approach is to NOT speak 'ill' about anyone or any thing. I would just rather NOT say ANYTHING - than give them any kind of thought at all.

By NOT speaking of this - uh - oh, there I go again, my short term memory is going quickly - what was I saying??... LOL

Good nite, Gracie...
