Well here I sit in the Windy City...awaiting my flight to Green Bay, which is delayed. My gear made it through okay, but the TSA folks seemed to be most curious about my AT mic's shock mount. A couple of 'em picked it up, exchaged odd looks, and then asked me what it was for... I was half tempted to tell 'em it was a new form of male birth control...but thought better of it. I just assured them it holds a microphone.

Gotta go..time to head up to Lambeau Land...

Fits plenty in so you just have one carry on.

This seems to be the norm in Australia, and it's definitely the way to go for when i travel next time with my laptop.

I didn't have any problems bringing my mic here, but I shipped the more expensive one and that got here fine too. (Sadly, customs confiscated my rawhide American indian Drum, but then maybe the Spirits of the Elders did not want to encroach on Aboriginal grounds Smile
