Kevin,
Could you adjust your rates to union (or close to union) without losing business? Maybe bring new clients on at a new adjusted rate? If it's quality of work then you're up there with the best.

Bill, thanks, that's a very reasonable idea. Right now my rates are pretty much 80% of the union rates. One of the reasons I'm asking is based on some of the clients with which I'm working converting to union status as they're being bought by new owners.
