I vote for sticking with your instincts on this one, Anthony. My impression is that you're out there hustling enough that you don't have to depend on business that "stumbles" upon your website. If you're stressing your acting more than the VO, why not swap those two icons?

Good job. I always like sites that make me jealous. Embarrassed

think, when you rock the on-camera gigs and become well known, the voice stuff will fall into place with some big dollar signs.

Man - never thought of it like that... but that'll work! Thanks, Ben.

Actually, Mary made me realize today that maybe I can look into work that "stumbles" upon my website... so this one will be primarily HTML if my artistic mind will allow it.
About the icons - the icons themselves are temporary - I haven't had time to design my own yet so for layout purposes I plugged those in there from a template I have - just in the meantime.

btw OT: I just got to the studio and I'm reading James Earl Jones' autobiography "Voices and Silences" - fascinating stuff! For those of you who have been compared to James Earl Jones (voice-wise), I would highly recommend this book! It will astonish you at how many more things you might have in common - not only in struggles to achieve success, but growth as a human being. I'll post a thread once I finish it, but go get it.

Anthony...

You ARE the man! I think the new look is fantastic! I'm a huge fan of the "less is more" layout and you've taken it to a new level.

Great new look! Hopefully I can get the favicon to work for my own site this time.

Note to self: Find best self pic to try and make Deebs swoon. Wink

sO I put up the frame - after spending ALL morning yesterday designing and creating the navigation icons... that's a lot of work - I don't know how some of these icon guys do it - it's really intense detailed work.

NEwho - I used iFrames for the content and various pics. Now I have to work on the content design/layout that goes IN the frame and transfer my newsletter program to the new design.

Give it a whirl and let me know what you think.

BTW - Thanks to Mary I will use HTML this time and no Flash. Thanks, mcm.

I like the icons. The site has a much more "playful" feel than the old one, very nice. And, I'm comfortable enough in my heterosexuality to say you are a very good looking man. Nice pics!

I really like the look of the new site, Anthony. It was worth all the hard work! Good luck with it.

it feels really good to get away from Flash.

My only concern with this HTML site was the iFrames I used, but only IE 3 or earlier can't see it, and if you're on IE 3 - you're most likely not on the web anymore LOL
