Back in the radio day, I always hated doing the " Feeder Pig" reports...
We had one DJ who did mess it up so everyone else lived in fear. |

'Pinto,
Y'all keep sending the snow to this side of the Rockies. You need a snow trap to keep it there. |

If I had not lived this, I would have put it in the category of "urban legend". I was working ISS at our school...calling roll one morning, I called out a young lady's name "Etienne". No answer. "Etienne", I called again. Still no answer so I started to mark Etienne absent. When I looked down, a voice called back - full of attitude - "It's pronounced AN-YAY".

Doing a project for Mackinac Island - and sent an audition off to the producer who responded - "Nice options. Before I forward them to our client, I should have told you -- Mackinac Island is pronounced "Mackinaw" island." _________________ Playing for a living...

If you had ever stayed at the grand hotel on Mackinac or tasted a bite of their fudge you would always know how to pronounce it, and usually with a sexy, dreamy exhale.

And at Mackinac Island, you can eat the fudge and not worry about it, because you have to walk or bike everywhere since they don't let cars in. _________________ jen@jengosnell.com
