I'm just working on my first medical/scientific-type video narration gig. Dang, these technical words are a mouthful aren't they! _________________ Intuit and do it!

It does get easier with practice. Of course I've been doing them for 30 years now. Here's an example where I narrate a surgical procedure. It involves a device to repair the radius bone near the wrist. It's mostly computer animation, but if you're a bit squeamish they do open the patient up starting about 1:40 into the video, so look away for a minute and then the rest is all animation again. Kinda cool what they can do:

The secret is to sound like you know what you're talking about (fake it 'til you make it) and create a level of interest that you think your audience will appreciate. Of course with doctors, they seem to like a fairly dry read.

Bruce, that was COOL!
I watched the whole thing, it's amazing what technology can do.
Nice read, good and clear, I actually understood what you were describing. _________________ Company, villainous company, hath been the spoil of me...

Cool Bruce! I've added it to my YouTube faves list, for inspiration for future gigs of this type.
Thanks a bunch! _________________ Intuit and do it!
