OH MY GOODNESS. The postman brought me a package today. He put it in between my screen door and front door and it tumbled into my apartment when I opened the door just now.
I didn't recognize the return address, so I was teh curioos when I opened the box. I read the note inside first— an unusual event—and it said:

See, back in November, I had signed up for a Secret Santa gift exchange on one of the news-aggregator message boards I contribute to, but the first match didn't work out. I was rematched in late December, and I thought the same thing had happened until THIS MORNING.
Super-duper wow.
The glasses and goggles (and mic!) are amazing
...and the million-eyeletted boots are insanely great.

Fantasmic!
Now - all you have to do is find a way to reproduce them on a smaller scale with a base that has your contact info on it. The send them to casting directors, etc. How could they forget you? I am sure they would put it somewhere where they would be reminded of you regualrly.
