Hollywood has completely run out of original ideas.

Robert Downey Jr. (the current voice of Mr. Peanut) will voice Mr. Peabody.

Do you suppose Downey kept a secret list of all the Hollywood types who did drugs with him, which he is now deploying? Gasp

I believe that Ted Williams and Downey Jr. went to the same place for rehab and might even share the same dentist.

In fact, didn't Downey launch his comeback when he was discovered on the side of the road with a cardboard sign?

Ah, hell. What's the current estimation of how long he has until the media's picked his bones clean?

Robert Downey, Jr. will probably do a really good job with it, but he doesn't sound much like the original actor (not that that requirement is written in stone) and he's already got enough work to keep several actors quite happy.

Mr. Peanut AND Mr. Peabody?!

I could just pea.
