So, I've been a Sound Forge guy for quite a while and recently at Faffcon I won Audition 3.0. Thanks to you Faffy and Adobe!
I'll have to say I'm impressed with all the effects and processing that comes with the Audition software. There's a lot of stuff to check out and I'm having a good time with it. I'm still used to the intuitive hotkey sets from Sound Forge but am getting used to Audition.
I like what I'm getting out of Audition. I guess I can still learn new things.☺ |

Audition kicks booty over Soundforge, IMHO. I'm an adobe nut though, so I may be biased.
Once I got Audition, I've pretty much never gone back to SF... |

big audition fan here. v3 is good & solid. if you want - you can go in and set all the hot keys exactly like you are used to in sf - that way your fingers can still fly! _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

All of our workstations are Adobe Audition 3.0, simple yet deep if you need it. _________________ jonahcummings |

I was a Sound Forge man forever...until I found Reaper. For me, it replaces BOTH Sunnd Forge and the older Sony Vegas. _________________ www.jclsound.com

Why do you like Reaper better than Sound Forge? Which version of SF are you comparing it to? I'm intrigued (though I'm very happy with SF9). _________________ Best regards,

REAPER reminds me a lot of Sony Acid Pro..the layout is almost an exact duplicate....for the money it seems like a great deal.... however, I don't think the included effects hold anywhere near a candle to the effects and processors that come with Audition, Sound Forge, ProTools or Logic |
