Well, seom of you may have caught a post recently where I mentioned that I had performed all the voices for a 13 episode program on Nickelodeon online called Go Bananas, for which I never received any credit.
It's one of many projects I have been ivolved with that for whatever reason elected to mention the voice talent anywhere.

Flash forward to last week, when Spiderman - Total Mayhem debuted for the iPhone. It's selling like hotcakes and getting great reviews. And yours truly performs the voices of 20+ characters in this game. Granted, they only say a few lines each, but this wasn't any walk in the park. And while I don't think anybody is going to nominate the voiceover work for any awars, I'd like to think that my work not only doesn't suck, but actually brings the game to a higher level of enjoyment.
So, if you happen to be playig this game, I perform everything from the v.o. for some cops to all of the villains, including, Electro, Green Goblin, Doc Octopus, Rhino, Sandman and Venom.
Once again, anybody producing iPhone games won't know it's me who did all those voices.
I've actually done a bunch of these iPhone games over the past several months, althogh NDA agreements prevent me from commenting on any except for the Spidey one. Wish me luck that my name somehow manages to get into a credit somewhere.
Or maybe I'm making a big deal out of nothing. Should I be concerned about getting a credit for this work or for the many roles I've done for games on the wii, PS3, Xbox, pinball machines, slot machines, etc? _________________ j.s. gilbert

To state the obvious: unless it's in your contract, putting you in game credits is merely a courtesy. Certainly a courtesy you could ask for if so inclined. _________________ Jeff

Apparently you haven't spent much time around the gaming world Jeffrey.
(And spending 18 hours a day playing World's of Warcraft is not what I mean.)
There tends to often be a Pollyanna answer for most things.
Were, that it was that simple.
But thanks for shafting my ranting rights dude. _________________ j.s. gilbert

haha, yeah, none at all.
My answer was completely serious. I'm not sure why you're hostile about it. If you want credit in the game, ask for it. But I'm not sure they're contractually obligated to do so. _________________ Jeff

My apologies. I'm not certain, but it is possible that you video game testers have considerably more clout.
Most of my work is handled through my agents.
Perhaps it's just my luck of the draw. _________________ j.s. gilbert
