Break out the hats and hooters.

On Wednesday (tomorrow), at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be:

01:02:03 04/05/06.

This will never, ever happen again, in your lifetime unless you live another 100 years... Unless you count PM, in which case you can catch the command performance later in the day.

Unless of course you live in the UK in which case it happens next month.

My guess would be that those celebrating do not have a day job.
Let the good times roll.

Yes, it’ll happen again every 100 years, or until they come up with a new way of telling time. Maybe we’ll go to metric time. You know as the moon continues to slowly move away from Earth, our rotation will slow until someday there will be 25 hours in a day. We’ll certainly want to go metric then, eh?

i tried telling this to my cousins in the Dominican Republic but they said it was actually going to be 01:02:03 05/04/06 so "what's the big deal?" They want me to remind them again on the 4th of May instead.

Now that 01:02:03 04/05/06 has been observed by the masses...
Will the next date of interest be 06/06/06 ?

Strange, but I was actually up for the event. Good thing because I don't plan to be here for the next one. <g>

Angry Darn, I missed it...I will have to catch the next one. Does anyone have a connection with a cryonics facility? Maybe they will consider a barter. Smile

I totally missed it. If something like the universe splitting in two would have happened, I would have set my alarm for 10 minutes before and watched it on TV. As it was, I got home very late from my voice acting class and immediately crashed.

Greg

(Can't stop... watching.. Jeff's new avatar....)

I got up and watched it on TV last night, but that poor Dick Clark. He needs some more re-hab before getting back on TV. Slurred everything.
