I know absolutely nothing about this event except what I have read on this website.
But I do know that most networking events can usually led to at least one good immediate or soon to be lead.
So if its in your area (and of course its not near me) you may want to consider attending.
Or not. _________________ - Peter

Is "The List" anything like "The Shift"? _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Yes most people can explain "The List" and "The Shift" by saying things like "It's hard to begin to estimate the effect this has had on my future and my career, it's awesome". The trick is to say nothing of any substance. As for me I'd like to add that there appears to be no beginning to my excitement. |

Some jaundiced thoughts...
1) Marketing is a great money-making opportunity... for Marketeers.
2) In the corporate world (from which I escaped) there is an ever-widening chasm between viable sales opportunities and so-called marketing opportunities.
3) "Marketing" and "Networking" have become synonymous... and both have become neither.
4) I will probably do harm to the next person who tells me that they're a "Web 2.0 Social Networking Guru"
5) Marketing claims usually have an extremely tenuous relationship with reality.
6) There's a very good reason they built The B-Ark
... all that being said, if you can play the game, it may be worth the price of admission. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

I do my marketing at Trader Joe's, and sometimes at Stew Leonard's, and if I'm especially flush, at Whole Foods, and if I need basic stuff like soda or toilet paper, Stop & Shop or Shaw's. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

If you're especially flushed I can certainly see the need for some Stop & Shop TP. |
