Did an hour long interview tonight about recording audiobooks. It's geared mostly toward the DIY podiobooks.com people, but hey, PR is PR.

Jeff, thank you, that was very enlightening. I particularly liked your position regarding getting a pro to do it properly rather than the author taking it on himself. I'm an audiobook addict, but surprisingly, I'd never really paid attention to Podiobooks before. I just downloaded Unconventional and it's next on my list after I've waded through the rest of Time Enough For Love (over 24 hours!).

Unconventional is a good book as is anything by Jeremy Robinson.

Podiobooks.com is a real mix, though the writing is usually pretty good. Since 99% of it is author read, the quality ranges from good to meh to oy vey. Luckily you can sample it before you download.
