Now, if your client wants playback of something you recorded, you MIGHT be able to route it to SKYPE, using your Windows built in mixer panel.
As always it depends on your audio interface's drivers. You could set the Record source as "Wave" playback. Then when you playback audio in your DAW assigned to your on-board audio interface, and set SKYPE's input as the same, it should work. Don't have a Windows box nearby to test it, though. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

I thought I would chime in here. I just acquired a JK Audio Daptor 2...pretty cheap considering the alternatives, just 175.00. Nice little device that will work while travelling. A non powered connector box that uses a 2.5mm plug to your phone, be it a cell or one of the cordless handsets that have a headset jack. (I found a good one at target for less than 25 bucks.)
Just connected it and it works great. Audio from the phone goes into my processor (for quality purposes) and then into a channel on my board. Audio from my Aux send into the phone. I can record the caller side of the conversation or not depending on the need. I just put the Channel of the call in Alt 3-4 and listen to Alt 3-4 in the cans without the audio going to AA.
Nice thing about the Daptor is that it is portable and non powered, nice that it works on a cell with the 2.5 headset jack as well. _________________ Does life start at 40? |

Wow, Kasey, that's sounds great. I'm going to have to add that to the list of things to look at. Thanks for sharing! _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

I've got one for sale, $160, new in box. Great gadget, will work with iPhones with the right adapter. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.
