With the vintage ribbons, you'll have some fun.
Personally, I want to get my hands on a Diablo and try it out with one of these.
Hmmnnn... maybe I ought to purchase another one of these little guys.
/please note that poster is not against receiving "Christmas Gifts" from the manufacturer who is probably reading this thread still

too many guys hitting on me at /.
I've no problem with the lifestyle, but I don't swing that way. A joke which my gf enjoys (one of our friends always threatens to "turn" me)

My Neumann U87 is in the M600 which in turn is in my new voice over booth. Needless to say the new booth wasn't cheap and I shouldn't be spending time and resources trying to get it to sound good, I am. The M600 has brought more to my party than a new booth, my mic sounds better and unwanted sounds are no longer there. I think that's quite a strong selling point. |

A powerful testimonial from a powerful voice. Quote: | trying to get it to sound good, | Maybe a techy or sound engineer can explain why we have to work so hard to make our individual "Resonate Frequencies" match up. _________________ Wild Willie Edwards

I've posted two links on my website which contain audio samples of the Enhanced Audio M600 and an Audio Technica AT8410a. These were recorded at the same time with matching hardware. No modifications were made to the audio, other than allergy season and my stuffed nostril.
I just want to point out, this is not a shock mount, it keeps the microphone stationary, which allows it to achieve the results you hear (rather don't hear). If you're mixing multiple tracks, receiving audio from a source without the excessive low end content is completely understandable, which is why this would be of such importance to many people.
Here's the link: www.kevingenus.com/m600.php _________________ Genus |
