There really is no compelling reason to run a 64 bit OS at this time. Some people are under the assumption that it will run considerably faster. That is simply untrue.
One of the big advantages is the ability to address more memory, but with the lack of software & drivers available to take advantage, it really isn't the way I would for the foreseeable future. |
