Philip Banks!
If you blokes would have a little mercy and explain what this stuff is to us Americans we might be able to laff with you.
Vernacular and commonality and all that.
And, at the moment, you British boys are a bit outnumbered. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

David's post was quite serious. The intials are of the organisations that regulate the copy(scripts) used for TV and radio commercials. Once a script had been cleared by these people there can be no changes.
Any way, who's gonna win the Superbowl this year and will their first duty be to fill it with Super punch for the after match party? |

Rome won the superbowl? Are you sure? In which case it was probably filled with a cheeky little Chianti. |

We don't say "Match" in the US unless it's tennis.
We say "game".
or "The Big Game" if it's the Superbowl, which is in January or February. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

This should help....
Hey, anyone try the fish and chips at Fish Coteque? I hear they are on Waterloo just inside London. I haven't had time to visit and try since I usually frequent The Steamboat on Pitgaveny in Lossiemouth. Their scones are the shiz for shurz!
Remember...Google is your friend too.
Now back to our regularly scheduled Joe Cip talk. _________________ Ben

Hoozah! Valiant effort. Ben, as you are a lover of quailty food try a search for The 1629 in Lossiemouth but for goodness sake make sure you've eaten before you read the menu. |

Nice choice Philip. Order the Fritto Misto and an ice water with lemon for me and I will be there at 7.
Back to the phrases and words dreaded in a session. I was producing/engineering one with a female talent on the mic not too long ago and she had to say the phrase "swirled morsels" over and over. It was for Nestle...a corporate project. I felt bad for her. Try saying "swirled morsels" 30 times per page and see where that leaves you. _________________ Ben

Excellent Ben, although it should be noted that 1629 is also the muber of calories containd in an average serving of tea and Clootie Dumpling, be afraid, very afraid. _________________ www.davidmonteath.com
