Things I'd like to get paid for: (not quite what was asked in some cases)

- working out
- snuggling with my honey
- riding my bike
- playing with my critters
- cooking dinner
- vacuuming (my own house)
- learning how to tap dance

The thing is, at my stage in life, I just want to do what I want to do and not worry about the money part. I'd like to retire like my sweetie (he did that at 55) and be able to spend more time with him...doing voiceovers soley through agent bookings and repeat clients.

I could be a friggin' Creative Memories consultant with all the crap my wife has bought.

And yet, the albums she has made are very nice. But STILL, to think of all the equipment I could have bought.... Smile

My wife, me and a partner (Angie Aresco, another Voice Over by the way) opened a dog daycare here in Norfolk a couple of years ago: www.wagsdoggiedaycare.com.

There are more dogs that I like than people, so this has worked out pretty well. Angie and I still do VO's so I'm not sure that this is strictly an 'instead of' post.

I actually gave away an entire bed in order to make room for all of my 'supplies' in the guest room! Who needs company?? I have stickers, ribbons, and stamps!!

(This was also after my cat digested 2 feet of scrapbooking ribbon- boy was THAT a long weekend!!! Now I just shut the door to keep him out!)
