As usual, I'm late! But glad to hear everything is spiffy. I look forward to hearing...er...reading you again soon.

Many thanks to all. This is my first attempt to sit up and send an email or two. Already I can tell two will be my limit....
Considering if feels like King Kong grabbed me by the throat and squeezed it good, it may be another few days before I’m really up and at ‘em. As you may have seen from Emma’s email they found the thing had grown up to my ear and then dove in behind my esophagus, and they had to do all their digging from a 3” incision two inches below my collar line. Owwwwww.
Voice is far from recovered so far but it should come out OK. (Of course all kinds of work and offers have come in just this week....arrgh).
My lovely, but dictatorial, nurse says I need a few more days off, so my contributions may be light for a while here. We may even go to the beach for a few days once I can travel.
You are all in my thoughts, and many, many thanks for your warm thoughts (they apparently worked, I’m here!).

Wow, all I can say is Bruce, it is very good to hear (read) from you. The beach sounds like a nice idea, can we come along?

The Beach Heals All.
It's a family tradition that any surgery be followed by a trip to the beach for R&R. Whether it's for knee or hip replacement, carpal tunnel, joint repair, hemmorroids, whatever, zoning out by the ocean makes everything alright. Heck, I try to head to the condo when I get a splinter removed.
...and eat lots of ice cream!
Thanks for checking in with good news, Bruce. _________________ Wild Willie Edwards

Bruuuuce! Wow it's great to see you're up (sorta). Take it easy and rest. We'll all be here when you're well.

Hey, welcome back Bruce. Even if it's for just a flying visit.
I must say, that thing sounded nasty. Reminded me of the alien movies. Did they put it in a jar for you to take home and show the neighbours?
