Soundforge Audio Studio ed. is all you need, $55

But the SoundForge Studio edition is missing several very handy-dandy shortcuts that I use constantly in editing...

Love to know what those shortcuts are, always happy to stand corrected! Only feature I found for my clients in full Sound Forge is ability to customize keyboard shortcuts, but most never get that far. I deal mostly with people who have zero interest in learning more than the absolute minimum to get their audition or job track sent. Wave Hammer I can't say I've recommended as I generally tell people not to process their audio much. However, if it is completely transparent to the ear, could be useful.

Oh SUUUURE put me on the spot! Wink

The two that I use all the time/during every edit session are:
CTRL-K (to hear what an edit will sound like before deleting the highlighted piece out) and
CTRL-T (to trim/cut out all audio EXCEPT the highlighted piece)

As far as I remember you can't use those shortcuts in Studio and they save a TON of time...at least they do me.

If you can now use those in Studio then I stand corrected...and probably do....my legs are getting tired! Wink
