If you use Quickbooks, then you can use Quickbooks Customer Manager to keep track of the mailings, etc. I used it for a couple of years. I recently switched over to Batchbook.com (per the advice of one Doug Turkel)... b/c QB's Customer Manager, while wonderful in many ways, was limited in the ability to categorize people. So far, Batchbook is good.
For invoice tracking, I do it the old fashioned 21st century way... I use an Excel spreadsheet (using different colors to remind myself of status of payment) with Word invoices. Though, I must admit, I am very tempted to move over to Quickbooks b/c it really would be great to have everything interface, but I'm too lazy to do it. _________________ Caryn Clark... Quote: | That would fit in nicely with my film noir theme.
It was a dark evening and the rent was past due when she walked into the room with legs that streached up to the penthouse. She wanted me to find out who killed Billy, her brother. I knew who done it, but I knew I could milk the meter for at least a week, so I took the job. Now I have a week to pin the blame on my own dirtywork.... |
