Yes, black blankets absorb 89.2% more sound than pink, white or beige blankets.
Gray blankets absorb 76.2%.
It's kind of like wearing a black shirt out on a hot day....it absorbs more heat and a white or light colored shirt reflects more light/heat.
Also, plants do not need sunlight to grow. They actually despise it. You will notice that plants lean in toward the sun most of the time. That is because the side that is away from the sun is growing more and much more happy than the side that is closest to the sun. Thus, the longer side away from the sun grows faster and the side closest to the sun is stunted.....thus the leaning in toward the sun.
Also, I have some land down in Florida that I would like to sell you as well. _________________ Ben

To answer your question, no reason other than preference and matching of some of the colors currently existing in the booth. _________________ Ben

Okay then Diane, just for the record, the plant thing was a total sham too. I feel if I didn't set the record straight....someday someone would send me a nasty email and say "my kid flunked Science because of you!!"
I think I did just become an honorary member of the media though. _________________ Ben
