Gp: What's your mic chain? It sounded a little "muddy" to me,
either that or you were very close to the mic. Very rich sounding, though.

Muddy? Is anyone else hearing that? I don't get muddy on this end at all. It can get muddy if you let it though. everything is set really flat.
As I said in the sample. Mic chain is. FC357., summit audio 2ba 221, emu 1212, mackie 1402 vlz pro.

This was a well written post. I listened to the samples you sent and they do sound very nice. The mic has a tremendous amount of character.
