Ha ha!
My first computer was an iMac - candy apple red. It was a sweet box, but I couldn't bring work home. Everything (back in '9 from my work PC was incompatible with my Mac at home. So, I moved to a PC at home.
Stripped the Mac of all of it's questionable website visits and gave it to a neighborhood kid.
Plus, and it's a big one, Adobe Audition does not run on a Mac, and I still like AA better than the other editing softwares I've tried.
Macs users are still a "fringe society". Don't believe me? Review the sales stats on computers. They are beautiful machines, though.
FYI: Mac is coming out with a MUCH cheaper laptop, so, I may have to jointhe "Resistance" again. "Viva la France". "Welcome back to the fight, Rick". _________________ www.asapaudio.com |

I'm actually a PC user from back in the 8088 days. I think it was from Vectrex and cost my parents $5000. Boy, I sure had fun playing Flight Sim and Leisure Suit Larry in glorious 16 colors!
The switch to a MAC laptop from a PC desktop world was not easy. I just have gotten tired of the myriad of issues with Windows 3.x, then 98, then ME, then XP. So far, the MAC has been a nice experience but loading up Bootcamp and VMWare Fusion with XP was one of the first things I did. So I can actually try out Adobe Audition if I want. |
