OK, maybe I'm strange... I like all caps for copy. I also like the phoenetics within the sentence. I've written that way for years. I guess I never got the memo.

I too learned to read copy in all caps while working in broadcast, but I don't necessarily like it either. A big problem for scripts that come in this way s that the client rarely double spaces all caps, it's challenging for my 55 year old eyes to behold, yet I'll muddle through smiling all the way!
Another wierd thing is how websites are to be read sometimes. If it's tricky, I prefer the client spells those out, as some need to say "dash" and /or "slash"., sometimes they just want you to say .org, and sometimes they want dot O R G.
If there's a phonetic provided, I definitely yield to the client's wishes.

Whatever....as professionals, we must be prepared to handle all types of script form.

Yes! I HATE when people put dashes in websites to "separate the words," not intending for you to read "dash." How are we supposed to know????

For any copy that I write, I always use Courier font. I was taught by professor that it was the easiest to read. And never in all caps (except in parenthesis to list SFX and such).
