Hey folks...for those of you who use Audition, have you also used Sound Forge and do you like Audition more?

My new hardware came with a bunch of software, all of which seems entirely too complex for "just" recording VO and I've been using Audacity to play around with the setup so far.

But I'd like something that does have some nice features, processing, etc. so that I can put together new demo material.

I think what she's got going sounds pretty darn good but I'm sure some of you have better ears than I.

I really like Audition 2. It has a long history of excellence from its CoolEdit Pro roots. It's got an excellent multi-band compressor and supports ASIO drivers (though not mbox ones). I record in Sound Forge because it supports the Mbox ASIO drivers, but do all my editing in Audition. I've abandoned Pro Tools altogether.
