I saw that post on V123. Then the next one that showed up in my box had this in it:

"We are looking for the 'voice of Jesus'. The job will likely require 2 weeks or more of studio time plus potential follow up work on commercials, promotions, interviews, etc. The ideal voice must be kind, gentle, compassionate. We want listeners to believe this is Jesus resurrected."

Sure. No problem. Piece of cake. Let me guess -- do they think Jesus sounds like James Earl Jones?

Yeah, I saw this one too. If I got the part it would be a miracle.

Either real late at night after a few "toddies", or very, very early in the morning when I have a cold; I have been told I have the "voice of God". Does that count?

Oh - just thought of another audition opportunity from the Lead Generators that I usually do not audition for - the ones that say "either Male or Female" voice - especially if the pay is low.

As a former producer - 99% of the time we had an idea of which gender we thought we wanted.

Oh for the days when people initially cast off demos to narrow the selection down to a certain "type" of voice and THEN asked for something more specific.

But by saying that I could be labled as inflexible to change. I need to do more stretching in the morning...

Off to tap class - later my friends.

Did you see the follow-up job post?

"If listeners DO believe this is Jesus resurrected, we will hire you again as the voice of Jesus for a $500.00-a-minute 1-900 phone service."
