I have had to pack two suitcases because the thickness of my clothing takes up so much room - and Amy isn't kidding about the cold weather around here. I have to jump in my jaccuzi in the mornings just to get my fingers warmed up!

Well, we aren't going ice fishing, so I should be fine. Back on Sunday night and then off to Palm Springs for a backstage announcer job ALL day Tuesday.

When my agent booked me I was worried about not being able to fit into my business suits (the past year as President of MCA-I kept me glued to the computer and away from the gym, so my skirts are a tad too snug). I nearly crawled through the phone line to hug her when she said that I would be in the booth with two wonderful old friends who I haven't work with in ages.

Gawd I love the voice over business. I did a print job last week and had a make up person - but they put us in scrubs so that was easy!

Hey - got to go to bed! The alarm will ring mightly early.

Now wouldn't you feel awful if you found out I really was referring to my age???

Alas, I am really only in my late 30's. Very late. So late, in fact, that there currently isn't even a "3" in my age.

I spent so much time in Georgia that I can hardly stand Iowa winters anymore. Seems Like I'm praying for above 60 over half the year[/quote]

Connie,

So how did your weekend go? Did you survive the cold, intact? Or are you still thawing?

Well, it was so cold that the snow crunched - haven't walked on crunchy snow for years and years - and the little taste (going from car to restaurant) was enough to last for many more years. Unfortunately no time for the fancy food recommended - we had to stay close to the hotel.

Flight delays due to high winds in Chi-town, but I finally got home around 1PM and then back on the road to Palm Springs to be at a noon rehearsal for a live backstage announcer gig all day tomorrow.

I have an incredible room – a casita really – the room is about as large as my living room and dining room and has a fireplace and a wet bar. There is a huge walk through closet to the bathroom with a separate potty area, a large shower and a bathtub big enough for two. Very swanky and very very old school.

So, I'm catching up on email in the nice bathrobe they provided and am headed for the lovingly turned down King-sized bed. We have a 7AM call.

Nighty night all!
