yeah I saw that ad - Dallas, Austin, Boston, Chicago, San Diego, Atlanta.

This guy is getting some sort of throwback from V123, because the link takes you to his own labelled link within V123,

he also has a MySpace page:

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=91425910

check out the spammy testimonials at the bottom of the page, from two guys who made hundreds from V123 just by sitting back!

I don't think V123 are responsible for the ads, and they probably don't know that this guy is using these tactics to up the hits on the page they gave him so they could track what business he is bringing in.

Yeah, you're probably right...that they don't know about the Craig's List thing. Ask Gary Kriebel about this - he too is on the VoiceActorsNetwork pages.

It is rather curious.

But if the Mike Anthony on the V123 page is the same as the guy on the MySpace page, then he's really got a great demo and the right sound to make the stacks of money.

ps - what is MySpace all about? Why is it so messy? Does it get people noticed. I'm feeling soooo old.

I'm quite happy I signed up for a myspace page. Not for networking or anything so lofty but because I've had many many people from my high school and college days look me up through it. That's been great. I just generally don't admit in public places I have a myspace page. Ninja

It's only as messy as people make it or allow it to be.
It's a bit spastic in the layout department if you're not careful and your page can get cluttered right away, but it is a dandy networking site for casual stuff.

I wanted "bosmom" as my MySpace name, because I'm Bo's Mom-- all his rock and roll pals use MySpace and whenever I show up to one of his gigs, I'm Bo's Mom , which is just fine with me.

Some nitwit has that name-- so I'm MySpace.com/GameVox.
What the hell.

It's tabla rasa so far.
