I'm not trading my iPad, but the Netbook and a MicPort are going on the trip this weekend, along with Sound Forge and now Audition 3.0
The iPad is a fantastic script reader.. As a recorder, more of a minus than a plus.
Twisted Wave on the iPad and the multitracker Auria are a cool combo. Audio Copy and Audio Paste work like a dream. Auria has an EQ/Comp/Limiter/Expander combo that works very very well. But getting good audio in, and getting it off the iPad is a PITA. |

Ya, I've used twisted wave for mobile project, and I just don't like editing on that system. I much prefer a full-on computer. I don't use the iPad much, actually. The MacBook in the living room gets much more use (and is more useful) when I'm not on a vacation or something.
Anybody looking for a perfect white iPad 2? 64gb and 3g to boot! |

My only thought is: Why do you need these for VO? Just wondering.....
