I'm using George's shock mount for the pop filter only. The bands in that one are on the weak-side IMHO. Since I have mine raised up high and aiming down...it tends to "nosedive" with that mount alone. Right now the Avantone mount takes care of the shock mount duties...and the smaller mount with the metal screen does the pop filter part. All in all it's very small. That's essential in a tiny booth.

I don't either, but I notice that Joe Cip has a double pop screen on his and really gets close and personal with his shotgun. And he seems to be busier than your average bear. Hmm. Maybe I'll break down and git me one.

I've got a foam screen (condom) for my 416 but I think it muffles the sound so I only use it as a storage device for the mic.

For dramtic/murder mystery type stuff Joe really gets close to the mic and veeery quiet with the read.
