Well here's a standard for multi-chapter items like audiobooks:
Set a decent level range for chapter 1 and export all following chapters at the same level. It would be sad if we needed a "standard" to codify something so basic.

For books I produce via Perfect Voice and Cross Road Press, I have a sheet of requirements that people need to follow in order for the audio to be accepted. I can usually fix things in post, but it's better if they follow all the guidelines I set forth in the beginning. They send me sample files before they begin recording so there are no surprises. These requirements pretty much mirror what Audible expects when you produce a book for them. _________________ Jeff
