I sat and waited for the sunset and as I sat I sipped. There is even photographic evidence of my progress, very arty it is too.

Both the beer and the view are well worth the trip even if you do have to carry 2 lawn chairs.

It's a Holiday Monday here in the UK and my intention was/is to do as little as possible.

Such was the path of the day that close to 11.30 we realised that we had not eaten breakfast so I suggest to Anne that I go to the shops and buy ingredients for a mixed grill - A KILLER mixed grill. While Anne pottered I set about preparing a feast that probably breaks most laws of human decency. It was fantastic, we plan to eat again some time in mid June.

Cajun Spiced grilled chicken, sirloin steak, Lincolnshire sausages, bacon. Lorne sausage, black pudding, lamb cutlet, grilled tomato, chopped mushrooms and baked beans to give a passing nod at the "healthy option".

Aujourd hui je suis un bon viveur!

Yow!!

Was there anything green within a mile of that plate? Even if it was only a crayon?

It sounds yummy. Even the black pudding...

You know, it isn't often I literally salivate while reading this forum.

Actually-- this is the first time.

Ah, Mary, there may be nothing green, but it is LOW CARB for sure!
Lots of protein and fat. Mr. Atkins would be proud.

I couldn't eat for three months after a meal like that.

I think I gained 10 lbs or 5 kg, just looking at the picture... it's great... when do we eat?
