I always prefer shorter, so long as it still gets the point across, so I would go with vokid.com
Plus, in the event that voiceoverkid.com does get set up at some point, you won't have to worry about confusion between your site and theirs. _________________ Lou Zucaro

Yeah, Lou, that's the sticking point with that one.. I like "thevoiceoverkid" the best, but I worry about the other site going live. My thing is saying "vo kid" can be hard for people to "hear" (they may hear "b.o. kid" which is another site entirely!) and also, there's the danger of not remembering what order the words are in "vokid" or "kidvo" with "voicekid and "kidvoice" I could buy both domains... |

Haha yeah, I think I knew the B.O. Kid in high school...blech.
You could always go with his name if available. I'm actually gonna stop using my current domain and use my name once I rebuild the site, but then again, I ain't a kid who can benefit from a more fun name like you're working on.
It's always a tricky thing trying to pick just the right domain name. _________________ Lou Zucaro

The problem is NBC...They've screwed up my poor kid for life. How? you ask..well, we named Jarod after their character Jarod on The Pretender...and who knew that he's the only one in the universe to spell it that way?? So if I did his name, everyone would spell it Jared...which is the "traditional" spelling.... so that's why... doomed never to have a personalized pencil or keychain..... |

I like the sound of TheVoiceoverKid.com and it's catchy even if it is long. It is bothersome about the other site though. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

I feel your pain.
Well, say hi to your other kids for me...you know, Screech and Urkel
I hope that was taken as intended...Jarod is a cool name...I was just being goofy! _________________ Lou Zucaro

Let me ask a stupid question though. What happens when he doesn't want to be called a kid anymore? Or are you considering that to be a disposable brand? _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

Brian, good point, and one I DID consider. I think at this point it's disposable...because he's 9...has at least a few years at "kid" status, rather than "teen," and also because he plays really young (listen to his demo link above in this thread) So that's what's really marketable about him right now. Good point, though. |
