Just came back from the in-laws house. Great food, no cooking (for me), leftover honeybaked ham, very little candy that I will eat when the kids are asleep (eggs on the egg hunt were filled with coins instead this year), fit in a nap, got the news that a new baby is on the way (not mine...3 is enough, thank you) in the family.

A good day. Now that we're home I think I'll put on a pot of coffee. Anyone want a cup? It will go with the cake and cookies already being passed around on here.

This is our second Easter away from my folks in Texas. I was the only one of my brothers that lived close-by, so my family and I were the "party people" for all holidays and special occasions at my parents' house. My brothers all live anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half away from them and they were all off elsewhere today. Frown

That's the sucky part of growing up and following your own path.
