If he's a regularly working stand-up comic, there's a decent chance he's done a voice gig or two along the way there...especially given his character voices.

Funny stuff. Still, IMHO, no satire of the "voice-over trailer guy" has ever been done better than in the Jerry Seinfeld: Comedian trailer. Gotta love Hal Douglas.

I think that DLF and men of his type should prostrate themselves before this man. Rarely do we see such genius and his performance was a pleasure to watch. Did anyone notice the accoustically treated room, the MKH416 or was it a Neumann U87, The durex Featherlite compressor/preamp, the amount of time he spent editing and fixing things in post?: I expect all them books what he read and courses he went on and money he spent on coaching was worth it.

Performance is King.

Many thanks for posting this clip.

Pablo Fransesco is a very under rated comic. If you have the chance to see him, by all means do so. You won't regret it!

Pablo is right! It's possible to use that style of voice on anything.

I may try a cake recipe next.

Well, not that you asked, but you need that 416 you mentioned, along with the Featherlite preamp/comp, along with more space for the visual elements. Wink

Banksey, off to the plank with thee!
