BSW has a great bundle for those just setting up their home studio.

I'm not at all familiar with the Nova Mic... but the rest looks good to me. _________________ Dave "Christi" Felton

It is a spiffy looking batch o' stuff.
I mentioned it in the recent "setup" thread, too! _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Nah, this is good! It really should have a thread of its own— makes it easier to find. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Nothing to be ashamed of! very nice set of gear. I do however advice first time users to also purchase ProTools 101 from the Digidesign webstore, for it helps you get started in the world of "Everybody uses it".
I purchased my first Pro Tools rig in 2004 (HD2 Accel that is) but took a couple of official Digidesign Pro School courses to be able to continue to work without delays of a steep learning curve. I'm about to have my test for PT Operator Music, but I have to fly back to Holland for that, and I can't make the next date. I was allowed to take the test again during summer, when I'm visiting friends and relatives in The Netherlands.
Pretty nice set of gear to get you started! |

My wife and I just moved into a new home and I finally have a small room (read: large closet) that I can convert into a home studio. This looks like the perfect little set-up to test it out with, so I picked it up.
Oh, I also found a promo code 77888 for an extra $20 off anything over $100. Not too shabby! |
