Have you guys seen this movie yet? I just got back and my husband and I were blown away. I have never been a Johnny Cash fan, but this is such a great story, and what a love story! Wow. And the acting..........Wow.

That's the show I should have seen last night. I hear that it had rave reviews. Instead, I took my daughter to see Narnia. She's read almost all the books, and says that the film follows very close to the way the books were written. I figured that the special effects would be a big deal... everything in the movie talked. It looked like a VO paradise. My only gripe was the ending. If they all had been wearing space suits, it would have looked like the ending of the 1st Star Wars movie. My next stop... King Kong.

Yep. I saw it a couple of weeks ago. I thoroughly enjoyed it. In 1962, I was drafted and after joining the U.S.N., stationed in Pensacola, FL. Man, did I hear a lot of Johnny Cash during that time. I even got to do some moonshine from Biloxi, MS.

It is a great movie in that it kind of was a nostalgic bridge to my experiences in the South, the music I listened to and the guys I listened to it with. Also, it answered some of the questions I had about, Why did he move around like that?

Good show.
