just got a message from an AE at an ad agency where i had a session yesterday. it went like this:

unfortunately we had some sound problems yesterday. i guess the mic was turned away from you. we have a new mic --and [the engineer] didn't realize that.

hey, i know you may have done that yourself so ... here's a little warm fuzzy to let you know other (ahem) pros do the same thing.

You mean like "a freakin' nother"?

I'm rather fond of "a whole 'nother" compared with the excessively stodgy "another whole" when you're describing something different.

It's the opposite of "same exact" according to Dave Barry.
