After having my suspicions about the existance of the fabled "other boards" rumored to be out there in cyberspace, I've come to the conclusion that they must exist, for I could have sworn I just saw DB post on one of them. Gasp

Since I just woke up, it's possible it was just a grain of sleepyness causing a mirage between my eyes and my laptop screen. Shocked

Yea it’s interesting to see what she is writing about and what others are saying back.

It one of those free wheeling kind of places where everyone gets a say, not too much censoring.

for me, this board is a nuturing safe haven, most usually filled with good humour (and bad jokes), encouragement, and useful information for getting through life...in short, the family i remember growing up with.

the other place is interesting, sometimes informative, and too often a place where everybody has to have the last word and everybody has to be right...in short, the kind of family i've heard other friends complain about having.

maybe it's just my age and lack of alpha-dog drive, but i like spending time here much more.

Everything Rowell wrote has been my observation as well. Well, everything expect his "lack of alpha-dog drive". Not sure about that.
