I am traveling to the Chesapeake Bay Thursday to visit my in-laws. Of course, the call just comes in the I need to do a session here in Charlotte Friday. They 'may' be able to do it ISDN (they are trying to talk the client into changing it to Monday when I return). If they decide to go ISDN- does anyone know this area and any studios I may be able to get into?? They live in Burgess, VA which is near White Stone- and the Rapahanic (sp?) river. I'm geographically challenged- but I'm prepared to drive a ways to find a studio. Any ideas?

Like I said- hopefully they will move the session to next week Smile I should find out soon...

Thank you!!!

I don't have any personal recommendations. If nobody else does, start looking at http://www.broadcastisdn.net

I believe the directory lists several places you can contact within driving distance in VA and MD.

Hope that helps.

Todd...Kara....I believe Mike just got married and is away on his honeymoon...so I don't think he'll be available to host an ISDN session...but it's a good idea to check....He is a really nice guy.

Still waiting to hear back from the client...

I guess I'm about 2 hours from VA Beach and Richmond. Anyone hear of Earworks Audio? (Thanks for the link Brian- I just added it to my favorites!)

Kara,

Back when I lived in Virginia Beach I was on the talent roster of Earworks. Truly excellent people. You won't go wrong working with them.

Thanks again for all of the help guys! We were able to move the session to Monday when I get back- woohoo! It's great to know of studios near the in-laws house though- you never know when the need may arise!

I'll second Mindwurx, and I might be wrong, but I thought that Studio VOICE (not too far from Mike's) also had ISDN.

Since the owner is a member of the board, you could ping her (Amy Howard Wilson) to make sure that my comment is accurate.

dave at digifon... http://www.digifon.com/aboutddl.html ... It's a listing of ISDN locations and I know you don't need it now, but for all those newbies who will most definately search the archives for tidbits of valuable info in the future Ninja Rolls Eyes instead of asking the same questions I asked a couple of years back that had already been asked a thousand times!
