Come on Yoda, if Anthony keeps forgetting his keys what hope does he have of remembering his code? "1-800-where's my keys" might work out better.
My sympathies to you Anthony. I think we've ragged on you enough. Maybe next time you'll think twice about being so honest.
How about a happy story Anthony? Something your really proud of.
cheers,
Chris |

Well, for those of us who aren't well versed in disabling and bypassing physical and electronic security devices, simple HCI comes into play.
It's actually easier to remember a number after used six times then it is to remember where your keys are after six successive attempts against a locking mechanism... it was a little tidbit learned from various HCI studies back in WWII when they were trying to find an easier, yet more efficient way to control classified facilities. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

For those outside the focus group, HCI stands for Human-Computer Interaction. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Did you ever think that one of your job titles would be Yoda's Interpreter? |

Greg,
I imagine that's mainly because most all of us don't work in IT, except when we're voicing an IT training film or some such. But, I'm always glad to learn new terms and information, so sling the jargon all you like. _________________ Be well,

I live in alphabet soup... I don't enjoy it, but alas it's not my choice.
Do I work in IT?
Do I work in Security?
Do I work in VO?
some days I'm just amazed that I work...
FWIW: www.acronymfinder.com awesome site when it comes to this stuff. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

It's much more civilized, if you must sling it, do it with an explanation rather than with the expectation for us to go look it up. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Old habit die hard. My bad.
Though using the term civilized and this place is kind of a stretch somedays, lol.
Wouldn't have it any other way though. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser
