One of the top Casting Agents in North America, and a great Lady, Jaki Baskow will be at VOICE 2007 in Las Vegas. She is going to one of the panelists Saturday.
While speaking with her today, one of the comments she made was: "...I am always on the look-out for new talent...". She meant it too, she has spotted our illustrious Courvo, hasn't she?
The energy is picking up as we are approaching VOICE. We now have confirmed our "special prizes" are worth more than $10,000.00 USD! The "Goodie Bag" is full of great items worth more than the cost of admission.
And, I am just this weekend away from finishing my book, finally... whew!
As of today; Japan, Brazil, Demark, England, France, Canada, Australia, and the United States of America are represented at VOICE with attendees, presenters, or panelists. It is truly an International event!
Update! This just in... another country is now represented at VOICE 2007. Kenya now has representatives registered for VOICE 2007!
We started this idea out as just a way to get VO folks together, and now look what has happened...
It is darned exciting. Hope to see you all at VOICE 2007 in Las Vegas!

Oh, I forgot to mention Jaki Baskow was our own Courvo's "find". Gotta give credit where credit is due. Thank you Dave!
(It's true, all I did was call her on the telephone, Dave did all the work...)

I am looking forward to this event, very much. Thank you for all the hard work (much of which I'm sure I don't know) that you've expended getting this project moving and happening. I'm excited to know I'll be seeing you there in about a month!

My husband is so tired of me telling him how excited I am about VOICE that he wishes it was over already!!!!

I'm so excited! I can't wait to get there! Unfortunately- I have to fly out Saturday afternoon, so hopefully I can get everything in before then! Thank you to EVERYONE that has already worked so hard- I have no doubt this will be a great event. Speaking as someone who has just gone full-time with voice acting- I NEED this!!! Can't wait to continue learning more...and meeting new people

Last night at apres ski, I had an inquiry from a friend, out of the blue, about voicoever. He's green. I recommended a local who teaches workshops...but really sold him on V.O.I.C.E. (maybe). I just forwarded him the info...
