Not sure what "experience" you mean.
Worked with them? Been consulted by them? No I haven't.
If you feel drawn to one or the other, give it a shot.
But otherwise, many times they offer free information - often via podcasts (sometimes the odd blog here or there) that may give you a nugget that sparks something. It takes a little listening or reading time but your gut will tell you if it's time well spent.
Yet remember, ain't nobody gonna help you wit nuthin' lest you know what YOU want.
If you say you "want more VO business", forget it. Get out, sell your equipment, you're wasting your time....and theirs...and YOUR money.
Drill down, decide on a market, a niche, a real focused objective (or at least the start of one). Give yourself and your marketing guru something to AIM for.
Like what?
Maybe you'd like to focus on getting more commercials for luxury brands.
OK. They may drill that down further -- but you're not paying *me*, so we will work with that.
Do you have a demo that strongly sells that luxury message? No? Well there's your step one.
Then you'll likely work on word smithing various messages for various media WHILE ensuring your data base is filled with those agencies or actual brands that are luxury.
Doesn't have to be national...there are plenty of local and regional jewelers (as one category example) who advertise a lot...and often they work with agencies (or sometimes broadcast outlets) that produce the spots that need talent.
Anyway - there are a ton of variables in all this, the point is if you want to work we these folks to figure out ultimately how to grow your business, you need to think it through a little it first.
And hey, they could take you into a discussion that actually sends you in a DIFFERENT direction than you initially thought...that's part of what they bring to the table (or should, anyway). Be flexible but go with your gut.
What's that you say?
You were looking for a brief yes or no answer and maybe some feedback on these folks?
Oh. Then no.
