Today is a day to remember those who have served our great nation. Those who have fought and died and those still among us.

To each I just wanted to say "Thank You!" We, the citizens you protected and serve salute your sacrifices.

This cute young thing used to hunt submarines in the Atlantic. Truly proud I am.

				| Today, my mother, Barbara Annie Mary Banks is 97 years old. She survived being dropped behind enemy lines during WWII with a radio, a code book, and a posh frock by giving German and later on Russian troops disapproving looks. CRUSHING. Thanks to her the war ended 8 minutes early. |
