I keep a close watch over my business which enables me to spot potential problems down the line; one can never solve an unknown problem.

It would appear that COVID-19, the Voiceover apocalypse has arrived in Portgordon.

There is a chance that this month my business will not be financially viable. I looked back at my accounts and the last time this happened was February 2009 and then the shortfall was only £250. This month it could be nearly £2,000. Complaining? No! I'm one of the lucky ones.

Yep. May income for me was half of my "bad month" take. June is looking better, but not yet to the "bad month" benchmark.

It ebbs, it flows. This is why we squirrel our resources in the "good months."

Delighted to be able to report that the above is no longer the case. Hoorah and Hussar!

It is with a great deal of relief that the colonies have received the news that there will, in fact, be enough pies to satisfy the requirements of Portgordon's premier voiceoverist (and, of course, his trusty canine companion, Bess).

Hooray and Hussah, indeed!

Yes and probably due to my being in the British market and not understanding the way it works over there in them there United States of America. I mentioned this to the creatives directing me on Thursday for the Budleigh Salterton based Pepsico. BTW Why would anyone knowingly consume a drink made from a Koala? No need in in Budleigh Salterton as they have this

Funny old world!

Now, that's a coincidence!
It was only yesterday evening when I was looking at some maps of the south coast of England... and although that may actually sound strange (for there is nothing to compare to the beauty and majesty of a Ordinance Survey Explorer Map)... I was whimsically tracing a route down to Exmouth, when I dallied at Budleigh Salterton... where, in real life, I had dallied one night as a teenager during a voyage of discovery. Unfortunately, the discovery was of draught cider and the "dallying" consisted of spending the night semi-conscious in a Victorian beach shelter. I'm sure that the local Croquet and Bridge Club would have disapproved. As it was, next morning, my companion and I were gently pointed in the direction of Exmouth (five miles away) by the local constabulary. We were advised that our appearance and demeanor would be less likely to disturb the sensibilities of the larger town. Come to think of it, it was probably one of the dowagers from the Croquet and Bridge Club that called the rozzers! Buggers!

Koalas are quite tasty. You prefer a drink made from girders?

At a 4.0 ABV, those must be Session Koalas.

My numbers just don't add up. I have stayed with 5% of my usual for the past few months. One month higher, one month lower and so on.

The only thing different is I keep getting comments from clients such as this one today; "Frank, these tracks are just great - up to your usual ultra-professional standards. thanks so much for your quick response."

I really like it when people take the time to send good vibes. I mean I REALLY like it!

Well known factual fact that the people in Scotland have an IRN deficiency so that beverage is a Public Service. No one ever died from a Koala deficiency.

I suppose that's why it's never caught on here in the states. No shortage of irony here.

Oh, and it just begs to be pointed out that the koala-based beverages do not make use of the entire koala, only its nuts. I believe they're known as "outback oysters" in Oz. Anyway, it explains why these beverages are so popular among UNIX aficionados.
