Adobe Audition 3.0
So somehow I disabled my volume button in my workspace in Edit View and can't for the life of me remember how to get it to show up again.
Anybody? Doh!

Hi Eddie - I think I found it, if this is what you're looking for:

1. Go to Preferences

2. Select the Display tab

3. Click the check-box for "Show on-clip gain control when there is no selection range"

The Volume Control will then be seen floating in the upper-middle screen.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Bruce I checked that out and it's checked but no floating control that I'm looking for. There's a toggle somewhere

If what you're describing is what I think it is, it will be under your View menu as Show (or Hide) HUD.

See if that's it. Wink

It solved itself on May 6. In Audition 3.0 there is no option like that in the view menu dropdown.
