So Miku, if we are still calling you that, what have you been doing lately? If I remember you were doing English language news casting for Japanese television?

We are such nosey parkers here.

Yep, still doing the news along with the usual stuff. Enough to pay the mortgage and keep up the pretense of success.

Current events are seeing me working out of my own place a lot more than I used to for local clients. No more heading out to studios around town, unfortunately. I just did my first home recorded gig for NHK who would NEVER have normally considered it. It's on air this Sunday if you have NHK world on cable. Look for "Face to Face".

Can I just say "Ditto to everything Miku said", except the doing English news in Japan stuff...Funny I haven't popped in here in a LOOOOOONG time- so grateful that Bruce sent me an invite to last night's Zoom chat- so I hadn't read this thread when I mentioned the website which answered the why you moved to Japan question (I swayah to Gawd)....obviously a sign- time to come home. I've missed this tribe terribly- other social media is just icky- this is family.

Here's Mike voicing the narration for this recent NHK program.
