I voice political TV spots for a couple of producers and my rate is based on market size for the candidate, from small town council race up to statewide office and beyond. Recently the client made sure to point out this was for Chicago area Internet usage only, not broadcast.
While I'm sure it will get less eyeballs than a spot run on local TV and cable, it would still have fairly wide potential visibility. What relative rate would you charge? I just charged my usual "on air" rate for a major city market.

They show a slight decrease in some cases and similar rates in others.

I think you were right to charge your TV rate. With the line between the two media blurring as much as it is, they can probably get quite a lot of views. _________________ Jack Daniel
