Another thought towards those who find the video less than ideal, it was probably done in French originally (Renault) and the remixing to English was probably assigned to someone outside of the original production team.
I do quite a few English language reads for commercials and videos originally done in Brazil (Portuguese) some Arab countries, and Sweden, and it's rare when I get to hear the my final version. When I have, they're a mixed bag of production qualities.
I really liked the one I did for Samsung of Brazil however.

I quoted this because it's SO true. I once attended a talk by a so-called "pro" audio person who insisted that mixing the music louder in an educational video gave it more "excitement".
Not only that, but the examples they played proved that that the videos wouldn't teach the kids a darned thing except how to play loud music over a narration...
